I need some help. about 8 months ago I finally changed my exhaust system with lots of appreciated help from you guys as to what to buy. I bought used downpipes thru muffler. Job was done by a well respected muffler shop. Here is where my issue begins. He didn't use the downpipes but cleaned out the existing ones. Told me it would make no difference. I assumed the exhaust smell would be a little harsh with no cats. But the inside of the car stinks until I'm driving for awhile then it is noticeable but barely. I'm assuming he used all the gaskets I gave him. The x-pipes were a flexible type that I bought used from Houston Z. The mufflers are new. Should this be? Is there something I should look for? Any help is much appreciated as usual.
